We made installing Watchdo as simple as possible. Once you’ve started your subscription with us, you’ll receive a link to download the Watchdog installer. Simply install the installer and the installer will take you through the process of downloading Watchdog.

Do I need to do anything after installing Watchdog?

Once the installation process is complete, you just have to restart your machine. After that, you can seamlessly resume using your PC as you normally would, with the confidence that Watchdog is diligently working in the background to ensure optimal performance and security.

How do I use the internet security?

To harness the full capabilities of Watchdog’s internet security features, it’s essential to uninstall any existing anti-virus and internet security software from your device. This ensures seamless and effective operation of Watchdog, allowing it to provide comprehensive protection and optimal performance tailored to your system’s needs.

How do the monthly charges work?

Your contract with us is for the provision of services described on this website on a ‘monthly in advance’ basis. Your subscription is collected monthly following the first free month and will continue until you cancel your contract.

How do I know that the technician calling me is genuine?

We understand the concerns surrounding fraudulent tech support calls. That’s why, with Watchdog IT Support, we’ve implemented a solution for verification. If one of our technicians contact you, they’ll read out your unique Machine ID, a step taken during installation. 

What is my Machine ID?

Your Machine ID what we use to identify who you are so that we are able to remotely login if needed. We also use it to identify ourselves when we call you, so if one of our technicians calls you to provide support, you know it’s a genuine phone call.

How do I enable remote support?

You don’t need to, when one of our technicians need to connect, they’ll call you and confirm that they are able to log in, they will give your machine ID so you know they are trustworthy.

Can I uninstall Watchdog?

Although we wouldn’t advise removing Watchdog IT Support, especially if you’re still paying for the subscription. However, if you do wish to remove Watchdog IT Support, please contact us and we will take you through the process, as well as cancelling your subscription.
